Margaret Vitale

October 6, 1922-May 2, 2022

Marge was a very unique 99 year old. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, moving with her husband, Sal, to Florida in the 70s. She still was living independently, made full dinners for guests, an avid crossword puzzle player, played duplicate bridge regularly, was an excellent lifelong bowler and played golf until the age of 92.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Salvatore and Lucy Fioravanti, and her husband, Salvatore of more than 50 years in 1995.

She was the oldest of four girls, preceded in death by Virginia Wall and Mary Dillon and has a sister, JoAnn Colleran in New Jersey.

Survivors include her children: Loretta Vitale, Corinne Quinn, and Marian Vitale; grandchildren Christina, Michael, Steven Vallone, Emma Larson and Lucas Byrnes, and great grandchildren Isabella and Amelia Vallone and Larson Zakibe.

She was active at St. Mary Magdalene Church for 40+ years, had many friends who thought she was an inspiration to enjoy every day. Her family was everything to her, proven by her generosity with her time and treasure.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 994, East Altamonte Drive, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32701.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, May 6, 2022 at. St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 861 Maitland Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701 with interment to follow in All Faiths Cemetery in Casselberry.
