Marie graduated from Classical High School and then received an Associates in Business degree from North Shore Community College.
Marie had a career in bookkeeping for 40 years and was self employed. She also was a crossing guard for 7 years. She was a member of the University Carillon Church and had a passion for making afghans and pot holders.
Marie is survived by her sister Jeannette Sommer, brother Leo P. Gagnon, two nieces, three nephews, six grandnieces and five grandnephews. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
