

Melvin Jay Juster, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully. Born on June 28, 1930, in the Bronx, New York, Mel lived a full and joyful life marked by compassion, humor, and love.
Mel spent his professional career as a Vice President, Executive Vice President, and General Manager for several companies, where his leadership and warmth earned him the respect of colleagues and friends alike. Yet his most important and cherished role was that of family man. He was devoted to his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, always putting them first and filling their lives with laughter and love.
Mel served his country honorably, bravely, and faithfully as a Tank Sergeant in the Army during the Korean War.
He made his home in Altamonte Springs, Florida, since the 1980s, where his quick wit and sense of humor made him the life of every gathering. Known for his practical jokes and joyful spirit, Mel found happiness in making others smile, a gift he shared generously with everyone who knew him.
Mel is survived by his loving wife Lianne, his sons Jeffrey and Andrew, their spouses Rita and Tammy, and his adoring grandchildren Jamie, Heather, Hayley, Hillary, Josh, Jonathon, and Jay Max. He also leaves behind four great-grandchildren: McKenzie, Amelia, Judah, and Cohen, who brought him endless pride and joy. He is now with his middle son Robert who predeceased him.
He will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and deep love of family, a legacy that will continue to live on in the laughter and stories he inspired.

A graveside service is scheduled to be held at Florida National Cemetery, located at 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513, United States. The service will take place on October 23, 2025, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
