Raymond L. Karwandy

He was born in Chicago, IL November 23, 1936. Ray was married to Audrey Karwandy (Mukahirn) on January 13, 1968. Ray worked in Retail Management for Genesco, Inc. He was a member of VFW Post #8207 and had a passion for golf and St. Augustine.

He was survived by his children Jerri Lynn Toomey (James), David Lodge (Lori), and Teresa Lynn Burkey (Donald). He is also survived by his grandchildren Marie Pesek (Ben), Courtney Ashton (Justin), Kelsey Lodge, Austin Lodge (Jennifer), Samantha Toomey, Emily Toomey, and Christopher Browning. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren Haley Veurink, Hudson Pesek, Logan Pesek, and Caelin Ashton. His is also survived by his brother-in-law William Mukahirn (Susan), sisters-in-law Patricia Ann Carty, Kim Adrian, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Louise Karwandy (Roder).

A visitation for Raymond will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 994 E ALTAMONTE DR, ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL 32701, followed by a Memorial Service with military honors from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, and a catered reception from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
