

The Eldest son of Dr. Gerald Goss and Mary Lou Goss. Born in Lancaster, PA in 1953, the family moved to Winter Park, Florida in 1960 when Dr. Goss began his medical practice. Rick was a graduate of the first class of the then newly built Winter Park High School in 1971. He was an artist and won several awards during his time at Winter Park High School. His work was exhibited and received recognition at Winter Park art competitions. He completed an Associate of Arts degree from Florida Technological University (now UCF). He also attended art programs at Rollins College.
Meticulous and scrupulously honest, Rick spent most of his professional life working in the retail pharmaceutical space, and retired from Express scripts in 2020.
Rick was known for his commitment to the protection of animals and was a strong supporter of Pet Alliance of Seminole County. He will be remembered for his devotion to family, his kindness, smart wit and gentleness hidden behind a mischievous smile.
Rick is survived by his wife Charlene of 43 years, siblings Michael ( Lori), Samuel (Connie), Susan (Michael), and Terence (Kate). He was a loving Uncle to 14 nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family graveside service at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pet Alliance or other animal protection organization.
