Robert Lee Brown Sr.

He worked hard his entire life to provide for his family. Before retiring, he spent over a decade at Valencia Community College, and before that, he held a series of jobs—always doing what needed to be done with pride and persistence. His work ethic was steady and strong and laid a foundation for how he raised his family.

Robert was married on July 25, 1982, to Isabell McWhite Brown, who preceded him in death in May of 2005. Twenty years after her passing and in the same month, the Lord called Robert home to be with his wife, reuniting them in eternity. Together, they leave behind a beautiful legacy through their children and their acts of love during their time on this Earth.

He is survived by his three loving children: Marshay, Robert (Jasmine), and Ni’Kisha. He is also survived by his siblings: Dandie Lee, Alatha, Johnnie Claude, Johnnie Mae, Symantha, John Jr., and Courtney. He was preceded in death by his mother Rosa Jean and his siblings Willie C., Rosa Lee, Bobby, and Daniel Jr.

Robert was a proud grandfather by heart to Amia, Karma, Kason, Javeon, and Janasia. He was also a cherished father-figure and godfather to Clarence Jr., Nicola, Shawntil, Clarence III, Kamesha, Jessica, and Mikel.

He leaves behind a host of brothers- and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, close family friends, distant friends, and beloved pets who will all miss him dearly.

Robert had a deep passion for cars, wrestling, video games (especially his Xbox One), telling jokes, and finding laughter in everything. But above all else, he loved his family—especially his children. Robert was both a friend and father to many, and his joyful spirit and generous heart will be deeply missed. Anyone who met him truly had the honor of feeling like they were at home. Before he was anything, he was a kind-hearted and loving man.

A visitation for Robert will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild East Altamonte, 994 E Altamonte Dr, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701, followed by a funeral service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
