Rocco A. Arcuri, born in Utica, NY on February 23, 1959. A proud graduate of T.R. Proctor High School, Rocco knew early on that life was meant to be built with your hands, shared with family, and sprinkled with humor.
On March 30, 1985, he married the love of his life, Kathy, and together they built a family full of joy, stories, and plenty of good food. Rocco worked many years as a contractor for AT&T, but his true craft was in being creative, whether it was building something from scratch, baking up a dessert, or reeling in the “big one” (with fishing tales that grew bigger each year).
Rocco was a longtime member of Annunciation Catholic Church, where his faith was steady. He was the kind of man who could fix anything, lighten any mood, and make even an ordinary day feel like an adventure.
He leaves behind his devoted wife, Kathy Arcuri, his beloved sons, Rocco Jr. (Lyndsay) and Anthony, who will carry on his love for laughter, hard work, and maybe even his cooking skills. He is also survived by his siblings Angela Berberich, Phil Arcuri, Russ (Terrie), Anthony, Joseph, Michael (Joanne), and Frank, each of whom knew firsthand his big heart and bigger personality.
Rocco will be remembered for his creative spirit, his generous heart, and the way he could make anyone feel at home, whether around a dinner table, in the great outdoors, or simply in conversation. Though he is gone from our sight, the stories, laughter, and love he gave will live on forever.
