

Rosa Romero Vilcapoma–Aparicio, beloved wife, mother, and pillar of strength, entered into eternal rest at the age of 86. Born on September 6, 1939, in the Department of Junín, Perú, Rosa lived a life defined by faith, service, education, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community.
Rosa pursued her high school education along with technical training in social welfare and fashion design. Her early talents and determination led her into a wide range of professional roles over the years, including fashion design, education, first in her family to migrate to the United States of America in 1959 and responsible for the migration of her extended family. She worked in data entry and key punch operations in Hartford, Connecticut and Orlando, Florida, tour guide work with Disney, and administrative roles supporting various public safety and public works departments. She was involved with the Homeless Coalition Food Donation Program. She was a supporter of the Salvation Army. Her work ethic, compassion, and dedication earned her recognition from the City of Orlando and achievements through Fashion Industrial Arts & Workforce Education programs, along with computer software training certifications.
A woman of deep faith, Rosa was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and Catholic Church. Throughout her life she lived in several cities Miami, Hartford, San Diego, and Orlando, and carrying her strong values, kindness, and community spirit wherever she went.
Rosa was the cherished daughter of Moisés Romero Portocarrero and Eulalia Vilcapoma Carranza, both of Junín, Perú.
She leaves behind her devoted children, Rosemary Evelyn Flores and Albert Wyatt Flores, as well as her loving husband, Luis Cipriano Aparicio. Her life’s legacy continues through the family she adored and the countless lives she touched with her generosity, creativity, and resilience.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Baldwin Fairchild East Altamonte, located at 994 E Altamonte Dr, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701, on December 5, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 861 Maitland Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701, on December 6, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
A Graveside Service will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Dr, Winter Park, FL 32789, on December 6, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
A Reception will take place at Genesis Spanish Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 3400 Dr Love Rd, Orlando, FL 32810, on December 6, 20252 at 4:30 pm.
In lieu of, or in addition to, flowers, the family kindly requests donations to The Salvation Army in loving memory of Rosa.
