Rosemary Ball

It is with great sorrow we announce, Rosemary A. Ball (Meehan), mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on February 12, 2023 in Maitland, Florida with her family by her side. She was 80 years young.

Rosemary was born in Gloversville, New York on October 22, 1942 to the late John and Thelma Meehan. Rosemary was a Mother to her five children, Kurt Ball of Charleston, South Carolina, Donald Ball and Becky Ball of St. Johnsville, NY, Donna Ball and Maggie Biaggi of Maitland, Florida, Christine and Donald Walsh of Parkville, Maryland, and Kelly Seely of Severna Park, Maryland. She had five grandchildren, Christopher Peters of Chino Valley, Arizona, Haley Workmeister of Baltimore, Maryland, Kevin Workmeister of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Jack and Oliver Seely of Severna Park, Maryland. Additionally, she was the great grandmother to Reagan, Mason, Morgan, Remy, Quinn, and Waylon Peters. She was the sister to John Meehan and wife, Deborah Meehan of Delaware.

She raised her children with love and devotion and sacrificed her own needs for her children. She was strong, kind, independent and devoted to the Catholic church and steadfast in her faith. Before co-owning a business with her brother and sister-in-law, in Shrewsberry, PA, she worked at Beech Nut Nutrition for more than 28 years. Outside of home and work Rosemary was an avid reader, history enthusiast, knitter and a wonderful conversationalist.

Her presence will be missed.

Services will be held at Annunciation Cemetery, 29 Cemetery Road Shenandoah, Pennsylvania on July8, 2023 at 12 PM.
