William Frederick Mitchell

William (Bill) Frederick MITCHELL, age 80, of Sanford, Florida passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. Bill was born January 6, 1941, in Erie, Pennsylvania to Viola Marie Mitchell (Deceased) and biological father, Randolph Steve Kovaly (Deceased). His stepfather was Charles Willenbucker (Deceased).

Bill was preceded in passing by his wife, Tan Mitchell (Umkar).

Bill was a graduate of McKean Highschool, McKean PA, Class of 1957. Upon graduation from High School, he enlisted into the United States Air Force where he retired as a Senior Master Sergeant as an Aviation Mechanic. Bill served all over the globe; Tailand, Phillippine Islands, Bosnia, and Germany to name a few of his duty stations. He then went on to work for Lockheed-Martin for another 20 years and retired full.

Bill's hobbies were genealogy, playing the piano, and fast cars.

He is survived by four children: Linda Yarris (Dave), Tuski Mitchell of Sanford, FL., Lori Boyd of Jacksonville, FL., and Tonya Mitchell of Sanford, FL. His siblings are Carol Lapping of Erie, PA., June Breese (Deceased), Betty Jane Yurcak of Edinboro, PA., Mary Willenbucker (Deceased), and Linda Swift of Edinboro, PA.

A funeral will be held at 1:00pm on January 22, 2022 at All Faiths Memorial, 1390 Park Drive, Casselberry, FL 32707.
