Anita Karen "Katie" Warren

Katie went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday surrounded by her loved ones. Katie lived everyday of her life giving and doing for her family and friends. Always the first to call, to come help and bring joy and laughter Katie was a delightful colorful character who never apologized for who she was. She loved with great passion, laughed the loudest and longest, gave the most and never put herself first. She was bold, courageous in her illness and always the touchstone. Everyone knows Katie because Katie made appoint of knowing, loving and giving to everyone… family, friends and strangers. Katie and Bob were marries 34 years every year was unforgettable. Bob loved his “Sweet Baby” and always look forward to the next adventure with Katie.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mabel Lanier, her parents in law’s Joseph and Delitha Warren, a step-son Dwight Driver.

She is survived by her husband Bobby Warren, sons Michael Lanier and wife Charla, son Kenneth Sanders and wife Tammy, Daughter Patricia Turpin and husband Junior, step daughters Linda Rea, Bobbie Graham and husband Bob, Star Warren, Frankie Carrell and husband Gary, stepsons Dwight Driver (preceded in death) and wife Cathy, Gearld Warren and his son Conner Jessy Warren and wife Tanya, brothers Charles Lanier, Jimmy Lanier and wife Karen, Annette Whitaker Rodriguez, Ella Rose Cummins and husband Joe. 29 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren and more family than we could count!
