Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Davey officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.
Mr. Cookson was born Aug. 27, 1929, in Pasadena, Calif. He served in the Army and was a prisoner in the Korean War for three years.
Survivors include a sister, Stephanie Tarkington; and a stepson, Rich Gammon.
