Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Griggs Schooler Gordon Funeral Home Pioneer Chapel with Reverend Gilbert J. Raynor officiating.

Private family burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Directors

visitation will be Monday 6pm-8pm at the funeral home

Arthur E. Vaughan was born May 18, 1928 in Wellington to Eugene and Corene Vaughan. Sue Corn was born October 28, 1922 in Amarillo to Harvey and Rose Corn. Arthur served in the Navy and graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Architecture. The couple were married on December 25, 1951 and Arthur began his architecture practice in 1953. Sue was a homemaker and worked around the home. Arthur designed several projects including the American National Bank which is now Chase, Medipark, the Villa Inn and the Ramada Inns. The couple were 40 year members of the Berachah Church in Houston and Arthur was a member of the “Romeos”. After retirement, the couple enjoyed several world cruises and loved spending time with their family. Arthur and Sue passed away quietly at home surrounded by family on their 63rd anniversary, December 25, 2014.

The couple was preceded in death by their parents and a son, Keith Vaughan.

The couple is survived by a daughter, Hannah Clark and husband Joe of Amarillo; grandchildren, Brian, Hollie, Monica, Melissa, Allison, Jennifer ,Victoria and 11 great-grandchildren.
