Betty Felton

Betty married the love of her life, Billie Felton, on May 26, 1951. Together they shared 60 years of marriage, building a home centered on love, faith, and family. Betty devoted most of her life to being a housewife and a stay-at-home mother to their five children. After her children were grown, she went on to work for Phototron, where she was employed for 10 years. Family was the heart of Betty’s life. She was always there for her loved ones and took great joy in watching her grandchildren participate in sports, music, and all their activities. She especially cherished big family gatherings and time spent together. Betty truly enjoyed life and the people around her.

She is survived by her sons, Ed Felton and wife Melinda, Ray Felton and wife Linda; her daughters, Doris Bryant and husband Freddie, Rhonda Brooks and husband Lonnie, and Gwen Frost and husband Tim; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Felton, on March 8, 2011; her grandson, Justin Bryant, on July 9, 2014; her daughter, Brenda Kay, who passed on February 2, 1952; her parents, Ben and Nora Ferris; six brothers; and two sisters.

Betty will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
