Betty loved to care for her yard and to take care of her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also worked in the child care industry taking care of others children for 30 years. Betty was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Betty is survived by her husband of 58 years Frank O. Wood; two children Robbie Miller and husband Mitch of Amarillo; Russell Wood of Columbus , Texas; a special granddaughter whom she raised Kassie Wood, and husband Johnny Paredes of Amarillo; 2 grandchildren Daniel Miller and wife Kellie and Melinda Perryman and husband Matt all of Amarillo, along with 7 other grandchildren. Special great grandchildren are Haelyn and Ryan Paredes; Alexis and Asher Miller; Lilly and Kristen Perryman and 12 other great grandchildren.
