Mammaw was the grandmother that I really never had. She was sweet, kind and and had a sense of humor that I will sorely miss. She introduced me to chicken and dumplings that no one could rival to making me egg in a hole on the weekends....and I always at them even when I wasn’t hungry because they were so good. She could yarn a good story From the old days that were fascinating. I’ll miss talking to her most of all. I know you are catching up with everyone in heaven, especially Winson. Take care and we will see you again one day.

We were so blessed to have you as our neighbor for so many years and our lives are so much richer for knowing you. We’ll miss your wonderful stories, your sense of humor and your laugh. 
My favorite story you shared was when you were driving Kimberly to school while braving some challenging weather conditions and then having to encounter a rather rude driver on the way. I won’t share all of the details here but you got the last laugh that day.
We’ll miss your homemade coconut ice cream that you’d pass over our fence. It was always the perfect and welcome treat on those hot summer Colorado days. 
Your coconut cream pies were in a class by themselves. I thank you for sharing your pie recipe with Linda. Know we’ll think of you with pie we enjoy. 
I loved your coconut cream pies so much that I asked you to make two pies for an upcoming trip to Omaha to visit my brother and you happily obliged my request. Your pies were such a hit my brother still talks about them. 
I can now picture you smiling and holding hands with your husband Winson, catching up with him while watching and enjoying the heavenly sunsets. 
Just know you’ve touched our lives and you’ll be forever missed.

I could not have had a better mother-in-law.  A great lady and a fantastic cook...the first meal hooked a son-in-law!  So many great memories, I am fortunate to be part of her family for 40+ years.  She will be dearly missed by all that were lucky enough to have known her.  Rest in peace, Mammaw, we will see you down the road...hope you have dinner ready! 

My Mother made fun happen wherever she was. As young farm girls, she and her sister, Elva, made their own fun. She didn’t tolerate a kid being “bored”. She could get more accomplished in a day than most could in a week. She loved to sew, designing and sewing fashion, curtains, bedspreads, and re-upholstering furniture. Cooking was her passion and she was a great cook. She would plan menus and cook for family and friends every chance she got. Singing was her musical talent and she praised the Lord through song. I will miss your dry sense of humor, Mother, and your homemade soups. I will miss your cleaning the house when it wasn’t dirty, polishing your fingernails every day, and reading cookbook recipes to me often. But most of all, I will miss you. See you in Heaven. I love you, Mother.

Blanche was the shining example of grace and love.  Her faith in God was unyielding and she showed his love in everything she did. I loved to sit and talk with her for hours.  At her request I began to work on the family tree, a project now I wish I had completed before she made journey home. Well, it is now a goal to finish this in your honor Aunt Blanche.  I know you will smile when it's completed, just wish I had you here to share those incredible stories. Every time we talked I learned something new!

I know you are so happy, home with so many who have gone before.  I thank you for the love and support you showed us through so many hard times. You were a rock to our family and we will never forget the unconditional love you always shared.

Love you so much, give Mom and Dad that hug for us.  Until we meet again, I'll carry you in my heart!

My Mammaw has been the family matriarch since I was born. Her love of God always came first. She would tell me “You better get right with the Lord Kimberly!” She was known for her cooking. Her chicken and dumplings are legendary. From a young age, she taught me to wash and moisturize my face every day and every night. She could harmonize to any song that was being played! I just know she is singing alto in the angel’s choir. 
Mammaw - I love you, I thank you and I am right with the Lord. You rest easy and I’ll see you when I get there!

What an incredible woman in every way! Mother always put God first with her family following closely. Growing up we went on fun family vacations every year with her doing all the planning and preparations including wanting to pack way too many bags in the car much to my dad's disappointment. She was a great seamstress and made many of our clothes, including matching vacation shirts for the entire family and a matching coat for our dog! Mother also made my wedding dress and the attendants' dresses! Thank you Mother because that meant so very much to me. So many wonderful memories I have! You're never ready to lose your mother especially an incredible one like mine! Mother, I love you and always will! You are in Heaven with Daddy and I know you are finally at peace! Until we meet again...
