Christine "Chris" Yarbrough

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Jerry Davey officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.

Chris was born April 16, 1935, in Quitman, Miss., to Hubert and Daisy Mae Glass. She left us to be with our Lord God on Wednesday. Although she had many jobs during her life, the only true love she had was trying to make her sons and grandchildren happy. She never turned away anyone needing help. Chris was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and a devoted friend to many. She was known to everyone as Grandma.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John, and two sons, Mike and Ronnie.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Robinson and wife Marie of Sweeny and Jerry Robinson and wife Carla of Amarillo; a daughter-in-law, Lynette Robinson; five grandchildren, Christy Payakwichien and husband Timmy, C.J. Robinson, Justin Robinson and wife Cheryl, Jeremy Robinson and Kiesha Allison and husband Daniel; nine great-grandchildren, Jessica Doan, Charles, Tanner and Raynee Robinson, Jesse and Marrissa Hanggee and Thomas, Michael and Jerry Bird; many sisters, brothers and friends; and, last but not least, her devoted dog, Muffin.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home
