Cleo Mixon Morgan

Cleo Mixon Morgan, 93 of Bradenton, Florida passed away February 8, 2015. Celebration of Life services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday February 14, 2015 at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. A memorial service in Florida will take place at a later date. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East. Cleo was born April 21, 1921 in Bradenton, Florida to W.P. and Rosa Mixon. She was living in Bradenton, Florida and was formerly of Amarillo. Cleo is now with her Lord and Savior. She retired as a teacher’s aide at Caprock High School and loved teaching kids and living a life with Christ, especially with her grandchildren. Cleo will be missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Charles Sherman; her parents; sisters, Willa Mae Gaines and Ernestine Knellinger. She is survived by her son, Kerry Morgan and wife Casey; daughter, Kathy Morgan; brothers, Bill Mixon, Gene Mixon and wife Carole; sister, Jo Hyson and husband Harry; grandchildren, Holly Lamb and husband Jonathan, Amanda Robinson and husband Jarrod, Kendra Potts and husband Jim and Jase Morgan; she had five great-grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews.
