Crystal was born July 15, 1969, in Amarillo to Harry and Shirley Riggins. After high school, she attended a college in Denton. She lived in Washington and California before moving back to Amarillo.
Crystal's enjoyment was her dog, Doehgee, and her two cats, Snoop Kitty and Biggie. She spent her spare time gardening, cycling, running marathons and volunteering for many nonprofit organizations.
Survivors include her parents; two sisters, Vickie Stephen and husband Tom of Wellington, Colo., and Shelia Back and husband Tony of Seattle; a brother, Donald Holland and wife Ruth of Lubbock; and several nieces and nephews.
