He was born in Lamesa Texas on January 19, 1934 to J.I. and Dora Fowler. Curtis grew up in Lamesa and graduated from Lamesa High.
He married the love of his life, Dorothy Smith August 27, 1957 and together they spent 63 wonderful years together. Curtis was a hard worker and owned Amarillo Gold & Silver for the past 11 years, which he ran with his heart.
He is survived by his wife, several nieces and nephews. Curtis is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Jimmy Fowler and one sister Wanda Thompson. He will be truly missed by both family and friends.
