Cynthia Ann Buckles was born on August 21, 1955 in Amarillo to Merrill and Carolyn (Alley) Buckles. She married Leon Fesler with whom she had two daughters, Kari and Annika.
Cindy obtained her LVN License and would continue to work in the nursing field until her retirement. Cindy was an avid reader. Those who knew her best knew that if Cindy had a book in her hand, she had a smile on her face. Reading failed in comparison to her greatest love, her family and grandchildren. Cindy enjoyed watching movies with them.
In retirement, Cindy found her passion for travel, especially to Hawaii. Her last trip to Hawaii was something of spontaneous to say the least. She simply told the family, “I will be gone for a little while”, and away she went. She fell in love with the islands as soon as her feet touched the ground.
Cindy had many hobbies in her life. She enjoyed knitting, and crocheting. One of her favorite things to do was see Jackie Evancho in concert.
Cindy was a loving mother with a heart bigger than her!
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers Paul and Steve Buckles. Those left to cherish her memories are her step mother Estelle Buckles, daughters Kari Melek and husband Robert, and Annika Morris and husband Keith; brother Daniel Buckles and wife Donna, and sister Susan Buckles Dunlap. She also leaves behind her loving grandbabies.
