Debbie, affectionately known to many as “Webbhead,” was a friend to all and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Born on June 25, 1956, to the late Wyvonne (Belle) Webb and James Webb, Debbie was a proud Amarillo native, graduating from Tascosa High School, Class of 1974. She was also a citizen of the Chickasaw Nation, honoring her Native American heritage throughout her life.
Debbie spent many dedicated years working at First National Bank of Amarillo, Sound Warehouse, and Amarillo College. She truly enjoyed being an Amarillo College Badger and cherished her friendships with her work colleagues.
You could often find Debbie spending quality time with her adored canine babies, Cinnamon Girl and Scarlet Lou, taking a spin in her trusty Isuzu Amigo, and listening to the classics. She was a die-hard fan of Yankees Baseball. Debbie enjoyed the Albuquerque Balloon Festival, eating delicious food with her mother, and gathering for family reunions in Arkansas and New Mexico, surrounded by all the beloved cousins!
Debbie was preceded in death by her loving sister, Sandra Barnes, and her sweet fur baby, Jacey Mystic.
Debbie is survived by her nephew, Brecken Barnes and his wife Heather of Kansas City, MO; niece, Tiffanie Kisor and her husband Trent of Amarillo; two great-nephews, Chase and Ryder; several cousins; her two fur babies; and her dearest friends, including Jeri Eder and Cheryl Polvodore, and countless others she considered family.
We will forever carry her kindness and joy in our hearts. Rest in peace, Debbie.
