

Edward Rodriguez was born May 16, 1950 in Plainview, Texas to Alfredo and Guadalupe Rodriguez. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. His family was everything to him. He loved spending time with them during holiday, birthday’s, and special occasions. He is known to his great nieces and nephews and many others as “Silver Ed”. He had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. He was a great handyman and loved to restore any and everything he could work on. He was very creative and a visionary. He had a passion for decorating for holidays especially Halloween and Christmas. During his time he worked for the United States Post office for many years and also after retiring he worked as a delivery driver for 8 years. He was a great loving brother, brother-in-law, uncle, & great uncle. He was very unforgettable and a memorable kind man who will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents Alfredo & Guadalupe Rodriquez and his siblings: Erma Perez; Alfred Rodriguez; Robert Rodriguez, Rosa Morales, & brother-in-law Oscar Morales.
Left to cherish his memory are his sisters Dorothy & husband Danny Jones and Anna & husband Tom Jordan, sister-in-law Sylvia Rodriquez, brother Tony Rodriguez & wife Mary. Along with many loving nieces & nephews and great nieces and nephews.
