He was born September 9, 1942 in Amarillo, TX to Thomas and Edith Moore.
His family was very important to him, he enjoyed sports, and his animals. Gene worked for Bell Helicopter for over 20 years, a deputy sheriff and a roper for River Road riding club. He was a Shriner and a Mason. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Gene is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Vickie and a son Kevin Moore.
Left to cherish his memory is his sister Wynona Halford and husband Larry; son Kurt Moore and wife Kaye; daughter Kelly Cooper and husband Ray; 18 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. A niece Tammy, nephew Tommy, great nieces Lacy and Ashley; great-great niece Everly; great nephew Tristan; great-great nephew Tyson along with many loving friends.
