Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Chaplain Brian Cooper officiating.
Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East.
Gladys was born October 2, 1928 in Bellville to Joseph and Lonie Long. She passed from this life on June 8, 2014. She graduated from Coleman High School in Coleman, Texas. Gladys married Ernest Risinger on April 2, 1949 in Coleman. She was an active member of the Daughters of the Nile and attended Paramount Terrace Christian Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend and she will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Travis and Howard Long and a grandson, Joe Corbin.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest Risinger of Amarillo; son, Sid Risinger of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter, Pam Risinger of Amarillo; sister, Marie Cox of Midland and her grandchildren, Amy Smith, Mark Risinger, Scott Risinger and Sean Risinger.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
