Herminia was born March 13, 1946 in Siete Alamos, Chihuahua, Mexico to Juan Perez and Pomposa Galvadon. She married Santiago Pena on December 24, 1962 in Porvienir, Chihuahua, Mexico.
She was a member of the Northridge Church of Christ. Her faith was strong and unwavering. She was a devoted wife and cherished her family above all else.
Herminia was greatly loved by her family and friends. She was selfless always making sure her family had everything they needed before she thought about herself. She was gentle and soft spoken, but when she spoke everyone listened. She had a beautiful voice and loved singing to the babies in her family. She cared for and helped care for three generations of her family. In her later years she had many health complications but she never complained and she never let it hold her back from being with family or from acts of service.
Herminia was an amazing cook and loved to cross stitch, knit, and crochet. She enjoyed decorating her home and one of her favorite past times was listening to birds sing. She is greatly missed by her family who rejoice in knowing she is with our Heavenly Father. “…do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31
