Ildefonso was born on June 8, 1959, in Rosales, Chihuahua, Mexico. He is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Sylvia Gomez, and his children: Ildefonso Gomez Jr., Perla, Irma, Omar Olaquibel Quinones, Sara, and Sandra Quinones. He is also survived by his siblings: Jose Abel, Jesus Manuel, Francisco, Raul, Armando, and Alvaro Gomez Chavarria. Ildefonso lived in Rosales, Chihuahua, before immigrating to the United States. He lived in Dodge City, Kansas, and later spent the rest of his years in Amarillo, Texas. He loved collecting elephant statues, tinkering around the house, and spending time with family. We will always remember how much he cherished his red 1993 Chevrolet Silverado.
His presence will be greatly missed.
