

Celebration of life services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in United Methodist Church in McLean with Thacker Haynes officiating. Arrangements are by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.
Inez was born Dec. 4, 1922, in Quanah to Ed and Johnnie Hamby. She was a hairdresser for more than 50 years. She owned a beauty shop in Quanah. She married Tom Trostle on May 17, 1947. They moved to McLean in the 1950s and faithfully served at United Methodist Church, until she moved to Amarillo in 2005. She raised two sons, Quinn and Lonnie Easley. She loved to cook, can, sew, paint and quilt. She taught many ladies to do this in her lifetime.
She believed in Jesus Christ as her Savior and she now sees first hand the things her family knows only by faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Trostle; her two sons, Quinn and Lonnie Easley; three brothers, Clarence Hamby, Floyd Hamby and Roger “Spooks” Hamby; and two sisters, Billie Srader and Betty Clemens.
Survivors include a sister, Nova Condren; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Easley; three grandchildren, Dennis Easley, Catrina Marshall and Kevin Easley; 12 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
