

Jean Bargas Rendon passed away March 4, 2025. She was born February 16, 1956, in Amarillo, Texas, to Florentino and Angela Bargas. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, known for her caring nature, hard work, and deep love for her family.
A truly social and loving person, Jean had a way of making everyone feel like family. If you met her once, you never forgot her. Her joy for life and genuine compassion made her unforgettable, and her name was known by all who crossed her path.
Giving back was one of her greatest passions. She dedicated countless hours to volunteering, always eager to lend a helping hand and brighten someone’s day. Her generosity and selflessness touched so many lives, leaving a lasting impact on the community she loved so dearly.
Her children and grandchildren were her world. She is survived by her son, Carlos Bargas, and his wife Angelica and three grandchildren. Jean was also a cherished sister to Eddie Rangel, Tino Vargas, Arthur Bargas, Henry Bargas, and John Mata, and she leaves behind many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Florentino and Angela Bargas. While her passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew her, her legacy of love, generosity, and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Jean will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
