He was born on October 29, 1954, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, to Arthur and Betty Partin. Jerry lived his life to the fullest, embracing each day with humor, strength, and a deep love for his family. From an early age, he aspired to serve his country, a calling he proudly fulfilled through his military career. He achieved the rank of Master Sergeant, serving as Chief Supply Sergeant for the C-130 aircraft during Desert Storm and Desert Shield—an accomplishment he held with great pride. Known for his playful spirit, Jerry loved pranking and joking with those closest to him. His greatest joys in life were marrying his beloved wife, Cordy, and raising their three daughters. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren, enjoyed fixing guns, watching movies, and sharing laughter whenever he could.
Jerry will be remembered as a strong, devoted family man, a proud patriot, and a good Republican who loved his country deeply.
He is survived by his daughters, Elisa Nelson, Carrie Hernandez, and Christina McLaughlin; his grandchildren, Stephanie Debevic, Isabella Partin, David Nelson, Michael Young, Alyssa McCallum, Samantha McLaughlin, Sterling Adams, Traeyvan Kelly, and Zane Hernandez; and his brothers, Larry Partin and Jim Lovell.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cordy Partin; and his parents, William Arthur Partin and Betty Smith.
Jerry’s legacy of love, laughter, and service will live on in all who knew him.
