JohnPaul (JP) of Dumas, Texas passed away on August 5, 2024. Visitation and Rosary will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 4-7 pm with Rosary prayed at 6 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home 6969 I-40 E. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 10 am at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Pastor Spike Maldonado officiating.
JP was born on April 11, 1982 in Lubbock, Texas to Roberto Valadez and Delamentina Martinez. He attend and graduated from Morton High School and was attending college at the time of his death. He was a loving, kind giving person who was always there to help anyone at any time. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and loved his Dr. Pepper drink. He was a volunteer firefighter for many years earning Rookie of the Year for Dumas, Texas in 2018 and Responder of the Year for Dumas, Texas in 2019. JP loved his family very much. He was a gamer and was great at anything he did. He will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his father Roberto Valadez, grandparents Pablo and Adelina Martinez and Uncle Jesse Martinez.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother Delamentina Martinez, sisters Rosie Belez with her partner Bethany Wall and Sonya Valadez. Brothers Joe Valadez and Robert Valadez Jr. Nine nieces and nephews, Emilio (Nisa) Belez, Cameo Belez, Jay Belez, Joaquin Martinez, Bradley Enos, Jose Herrera, Adelisett Cruz, Angel Salinas, and Ayiden Moctezuma. Two great nieces Novaya Belez and Karisma Cruz and two great nephews Dante Belez, Revy Bufkin-Belez. His partner Kristal Hogue and his stepson Matthew Hogue. Along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
