The family will receive friends and relatives Friday July 25, 2014 from 5-8pm at Griggs Schooler Gordon Funeral Directors. 5400 Bell St.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday July 26, 2014 at Griggs Schooler Gordon Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel with Pastor Spike Maldonado officiating.

Burial will be at Llano Cemetery

Jonathan was a loving, caring father. Family was very important, especially his children. He loved the Spurs, watching movies and listening to all different kinds of music. He was a very talented artist. He enjoyed playing darts and hanging out with friends. He was a carpenter until 2006 when he decided that he wanted to go to school for Cosmetology. He worked at North Star Barber in San Antonio. He loved his job. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother Rita Rosenda Ramirez

Jonathan is survived by his 3 children; Ezekiel Ramirez; Jacob Ramirez and Savannah Ramirez all of Amarillo; love of his life Rosalinda Valdez Martinez of San Antonio; father Gonzalo Ramirez of Amarillo; 1 sister Monisa Garza and husband Rolando of San Antonio; 1 brother Jeremy Ramirez of Amarillo; 2 nieces Miranda Garza of San Antonio and Maycie Ramirez of Amarillo; 1 nephew Anthony Ramirez of Amarillo; 2 aunts; Sylvia Castillo of San Antonio; Patsy Ramirez of North Carolina; 3 uncles Manuel Ramirez and wife Diane of Amarillo; Jerry Castillo of Amarillo; Robert Luna and wife Delores of Lubbock, along with many cousins and very close friends.
