Karole Ann Hubbart was born on January 8th 1940 in Butler, Oklahoma to Charles E. and Katherine M.(Cook) Hubbart. She had one sister, Gussie Flowers. They moved to California for a few years but moved to Amarillo, Texas where she grew up. She met Jimmie D. Jayroe and they were married, shortly after she graduated from Palo Duro High School, on June 21, 1958. Their daughter Sharla arrived the next April in 1959, their son Darrell arrived in April of 1961 and their son Timothy completed the family in July of 1964.
Karole was a devoted and loving wife and mother and never worked outside the home until after the death of her husband Jimmie in 1976. As a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene she was very involved in the San Jacinto Church of the Nazarene choir and ladies ministries. It was shortly after becoming a widow that she took up painting and her artistic talents started to blossom. She loved oil painting and ceramics and other arts and crafts. Over the years she worked several different retail clerk jobs. Her last 15 years of work prior to her retirement were spent in the ladies clothing department of Dillard's Department store in Oklahoma City.
She deeply loved her kids and grandkids and recently was blessed with 5 great-grandchildren to love as well.

Karole was a brave warrior during her eight year journey with Alzheimer's. Even though she didn't understand a lot of things near the end and had lost most of her memories and her ability to communicate she never lost faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and the hope she had for her eternal home in heaven. Karole was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
