Larry Dale Willis, 48 years old, passed away December 6th, 2013, due to long term complications of advanced Multiple Sclerosis.Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Funeral Home with Jerry Davey, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.
Larry went to River Road High School, he enjoyed restoring old hot rod cars, and he also loved music. Larry was also a Navy veteran. He had a unique zest for life and was also Knighted as a full Knight Templar in which his order nickname was “White Tiger”. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Larry passed with comfort and dignity while being expertly and compassionately cared for by Amarillo’s BSA Hospice.
He is survived by his Wife Orene Reynolds of Amarillo Texas, his Father and Mother Howard and Doris Willis of Amarillo, his Grandmother Zola Tipton of Amarillo, his Brother Ken Willis of Amarillo, and his Sister Lindi Willis of Amarillo.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to either the MS Society or to the Baptist Saint Anthony Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo TX, 79105.
