

Lee A. Morris passed away May 3, 2020 in Amarillo, Texas. Graveside service will be at 2 pm Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery, the family has asked that friends join them at the graveside and only immediate family and selected friends attend the Celebration of Life due to the COVID 19 restrictions. Lee was born April 3, 1938 in Ames, Oklahoma to William and Faye Morris. He was an electrician and loved tinkering with anything and everything. His family was very important to him. His wife Utha was the light of his life they spent 61 wonderful years together. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In his younger years he enjoyed traveling throughout the US, and after retirement traveled to New Zealand, Fiji, Australia, Africa, and Mexico with his wife and friends, he loved fishing in Arkansas. He also loved square dancing, he was a member of Ye Ole Squares for many years, was a sponsor for Excelerators Club and served as a State Representative when Amarillo hosted the State event. After retiring he loved to spend time in Arizona camping with Utha May and friends. He will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Utha; two children, son Clayton Morris and wife LeAnne and daughter, Lea (Morris) Carrell and husband Charley. A sister Edith Willey; two sister in laws Merle Morris and Jan Morris. Grandchildren Joshua Carrell and wife Mim; Damian Carrell and Patricia Rogers; Garth Carrell; Blaine Morris and wife Terra and Colton Morris. Along with four great grandchildren Kindra Carrell, Daylee Carrell, Scotty Carrell and Natalya Carrell.
