Margaret Oline Bass Wiley was born June 19, 1929 in Hubbard Texas to Steve and Docia Vaughan. In 1933, the family moved to Midland Texas. Margaret graduated from Midland Lee High School in 1946 and married Otis Bass in 1955. The couple enjoyed bowling, dancing and playing dominoes. They had two children before moving to Amarillo in 1969. Margaret worked as a teller for First National Bank and other area banks until her retirement at the age of 70. In 2002, Margaret married Troy Wiley.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Troy.
She is survived by her children: Terri Van Doran (Dusty) and Gary Bass (Terri). Nana will be greatly missed by her four grandchildren: Cody Bass (Ashley), Leah Bush (Shane), Kadee Merrick (Teel) and Nick Van Doran (Blair). Nana was blessed with six great-grandchildren: Brandon (Mckaylee), Lenox, Kaydence, Jude, Daxon, Barrett, and one great-great-grandchild: Montgomery.
On June 19, Margaret’s 91st birthday, she went to her heavenly home.
