Margaret Celeste Couture

Proud big, sister to Branch and Shannon. So many memories with family, friends and cousins. She attended Margaret Wills Elementary, Austin Middle School and proud Rebel of Tascosa High School class of 1975. She recalled travels with family, school fun, best friends that lasted her lifetime, treasured time with grandparents and visits to sweets cousins. Special memories with her grandfather, Thad Ansley of Ansley cleaners, helping him around town for business and fun adventures. Celeste attended Texas Tech University for studies in interior design and achieved her certification. On one special evening early 1977, Celeste met Bill at a local hotspot Bogarts. Their chance meeting sparked a relationship lasting 48 years, marrying on June 25th 1977. Celeste's career in interior decorating & designing was spent alongside her family at their business Don R Reid Inc.. Decorating many, beautiful homes across the Texas Panhandle, Amarillo and the United States. Celeste made sure her family always came first! Celeste and Bill were blessed with three beautiful children: Sarah, Amos and Annie. Being Mom was her heart's desire, supporting each one lovingly her entire life. She showed love by being active as Assistant Scoutmaster for Amos and Bill, Girl scout leader for the girls, Junior League member and sustainer, Tascosa Alumni, volunteer youth sponsor and 4th generation member Polk Street UMC, PTA mom, Momma C to kids' friends and enthusiast for anything the family participated in. Her greatest joy came as being Mimi to their 6 grandchildren and spending so much time together. It is an honor and blessing of Celeste's to give life to others through her donations to LifeGift. She is survived by husband, Wm. Bill Couture, her children, Sarah Couture, Amos Couture and wife Randi, Annie Gummersheimer and husband Cody. Grandchildren; Ella, Maeleigh & Ryken Macon, Maggie & Jackson Gummersheimer and Patience Coopet. Brother Branch Reid wife Linda & children, Rose, BJ & Chase. Sister Shannon Caldwell husband Jack & children; Reid & Parker. She is preceded in death by parents Don Reid, Anne & Mike Powell, William & Marion Couture, grandparents Thad & Margaret Ansley.
