Marilyn was born and raised in Rosemount Minnesota where she would later graduate from Rosemount High School in Minnesota in 1956. Marilyn moved to Texas in the mid-1970’s, where she would make a new life for herself. Marilyn was an active and longtime member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Amarillo, TX. She was active in many church activities, namely a sewing group where she and other church members would sew items for cancer patient organizations. When Marilyn wasn’t spending time at her church, you could find her tending to her lawn and garden, antiquing, traveling all over the United States of America and spending time with her family and friends. Marilyn had an incredible work ethic, serving the Texas Department of Transportation office for 25 years. Marilyn was a kind and gentle soul and will be sorely missed by all who were blessed enough to have known her.
Left on this earth to carry on her legacy is her sister Marjorie Spencer of Amarillo, TX, brother Gerald and wife Betty Schleh of New London, MN, nieces Debbie Foley of Plymouth, MN, Peggy Schleh of New Hope, MN, Jeanette Nelson of Amarillo, TX, two grandnephews, one grandniece, two great-grandnephews and three great-grandnieces.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Frieda Schleh.
