

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Sims, pastor of Unity Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.
Mary was born Sept. 10, 1934, in Childress. She was married to Clyde Hamilton.
She obtained her bachelor's degree in psychology from West Texas State University and worked for Adult Protective Services. She was loved by friends, family and everyone that knew her.
In the later years of her life, she was a doting grandmother and great-grandmother, but she was a caring person to everyone her entire life. She was a long-standing member of Unity Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Hamilton; a daughter Millicent Smith; a son, Randy Bailey; a granddaughter, Katrina Ann Bailey; and great-grandson, Austin McErlane.
Survivors include three daughters, Nella Steeden and husband Jim of Jacksonville, Fla., and Karen Moore and Kristina Trammell and husband Chris, all of Amarillo; a son, Rus Bailey of Amarillo; a brother, Simon Andrew Moore and wife Bobbie of Tulsa, Okla.; five granddaughters, Kendra Burks of Maplewood, Minn., Mercedes Johnson, Kayla Rogers and husband Derek, and Melissa Trammell, all of Amarillo, and Millicent Frazier of Seattle; three grandsons, Joshua Trammell, Kevin Williams and Michael Waterbury, all of Amarillo; and five great-grandchildren, Courtney Nicole Williams, Tryston Lee Waterbury, Shae Lee Frazier, Nicoli Johnson and Aiden Burks.
