Mary Smiley

Born 3-14-1930 in Dickens, TX to John C. & Myrtle Reynolds. She married David Smiley Jr. & spent most of her adult life in Amarillo, TX. David passed to our Lord in 1975. Mary passed to our Lords hands 3-11-2025, just shy of her 95th birthday. Mary was residing in Hutto, TX at the time with her daughter and grandson.

Mary was the last of her siblings which include 2 brothers, John (Sonny Boy)

Reynolds & Dickey Reynolds; 3 sisters, Pauline Jackson, Winona Cobb &

Joyce Morriss.Mary & David had 2 children, Bob Smiley(now with God) & Davy Smiley.

Bob & Wanda had 3 children; Michelle Connelly-Smiley, Becky Kite & David Smiley. Great Grandchildren; Deaven Connelly, Kallie Connelly, Kinzi Kite, Olivia Perez, Luke Smiley, Leah Smiley & Liam Smiley.

Davy Smiley had Jason Matthew(with God) & Joshua Banda Mary live & loved her family!

She loved country music, horses, puppies, Snoopy, Jackie Chan, Law & Order, dancing the two step to George Strait! Mary graduated from Amarillo College with a certification in medical records. She worked at High Plains Baptist Hospital(as it was known at the time) & NorthWest Texas Hospital. She retired in 1996 & moved with daughter to the Austin, TX area. We loved her, we will miss her presence, her wit & smile(only if you bribe her with sweets!)
