Mike was born July 22,1939 in Canadian Tx, moving to Amarillo in 1948. He was a 1957 graduate of Amarillo High School, attended Amarillo College and graduated from University of Texas in 1961 with a BBA degree in accounting. He was an avid fan of the Texas Longhorns. He was associated with several banks during his career, retiring from Amarillo National Bank in 1999 as a Senior Vice President.
Mike enjoyed golf, hunting fishing, travel and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include wife, Barbara of 62 years marriage, two sons, Charles Elsea and wife Stefanie, Gary Elsea and wife Kay, daughter Debra Herrington and husband Alan, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was loved and will be truly missed.
