Millowee “Mickey” Bumgarner, 86 of Amarillo passed away October 20, 2014. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2014 at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with T.C. Messer officiating. Entombment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery North Mausoleum by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East. Mickey was born April 28, 1928 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas to Clyde and Maude Boyd. She married Maurice Bumgarner, Sr. on October 31, 1942 in Arkansas. They moved to Amarillo in 1945. Mickey retired from K-Mart after over 15 years of service. She love to spend time in her garden and loved her flowers. Mickey loved her family and took pride in taking care of all of them. She was a member of the Pentecostal church and above all she loved her Lord. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Maurice Bumgarner, Sr.; 3 sons, Maurice Bumgarner, Jr., Ronnie Bumgarner and Jerry Bumgarner; daughter, Donna Kirby; also by 2 grandchildren. Mickey is survived by her daughter, Joan Hadder of Amarillo; 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
