

Minnie Ann Clark was born in Olustee, Oklahoma to Edwin & Estal Clark on October 31, 1941 and raised in Lakeview, Texas. Minnie played basketball in high school & was a talented artist. She married Auther Turner in 1960. She was a loving homemaker, wife, mother & friend to many. She held fast to her beliefs & love for her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Minnie had an adventurous & independent spirit. Minnie & Auther worked & lived at Palo Duro Canyon early in their marriage. They traveled on motorcycles, riding her own Harley (with a side car.) She spent several weeks traveling to Canada on a motorcycle & camping. She has visited Rocky Mountain National Park, Glacier National Park, The Black Hills South Dakota, Yellowstone National Park, Yosemite National Park, Black Canyon/Gunnison National Park, and the Grand Canyon to name a few.
Minnie enjoyed telling stories of playing with her toy guns, watching Roy Rogers, listening to Elvis & wearing bobby socks and loafers. She loved reading, drawing and painting. She kept everyone entertained with her fun & creative Facebook posts.
Minnie loved her children, grandchildren & all animals. She was known as “My Minnie” & “Gram” by her grandchildren. She loved to watch movies & read to them.
She is preceded in death by her father Edwin Hayes Clark, her mother, Estal Lee Clark, and her siblings Louise Hatley, Margaret Hughes, Donnie Clark, Willis Clark & Robbie Glenn Clark.
She is survived by her son Erick Turner & wife Vickie (Sissy), her daughter Rachel Spence & husband Chris, her grandchildren Arial Hanna & husband Austin, Hunter & Marshall Turner.
There will be a family gathering to be determined at a later date in Amarillo, TX. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite charity in Minnie’s name.
