Mr. & Mrs. Deane Martin

Deane Martin was born September 21,1940 to Marion and Viola in Vernon Texas. Deane grew up in Borger Tx where he met the love of his life Eva. Eva Stinson was born March 1,1940 to Bertrum and Juanita Stinson in Regina Saskatchewan Canada. She became a naturalized citizen of the USA as a young girl when her parents moved to Fritch Texas. They met when she accidentally spilled a soda on Deane and his brother as she was working as a car hop for the Jet Drive Inn in Borger Texas.

Deane and Eva have been married for 64 years. They were inseparable in life. They loved fishing and going to casino’s to foil the one arm bandits. They cherished family and friends. They spent all the time they could following grandchildren in any endeavor that they were involved in especially sporting events. They were the #1 fans and everyone knew them.

Eva is preceded in death by her parents. Deane is preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers Earnest, Winfred, Orvis and Buford.

Left to cherish their memories are their sons Calvin Martin of Amarillo, Texas and Bert Martin and his wife Paula of Hampstead North Carolina. Deane and Eva will be sorely missed by their grandchildren Brandt Martin and wife Layton of Amarillo Tx. Chelsea Herrington and husband Heath of Amarillo, Haley Jarman and husband Michael of Wake Forest North Carolina, and Caleb Martin and wife Hilary of Hackettstown New Jersey. Deane and Eva also have 6 great grandchildren – William Herrington, Brynn and Brecken Martin, Brody Martin, and Lincoln and Rhett Jarman.
