She was born April 20, 1932 in Rogers, Arkansas to Damas and Mary Noland.
Norma grew up in Rogers, Arkansas. She married Wesley “Ray” Felder September 23, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They moved to Amarillo in July 1955 when Ray accepted a job at the Amarillo Helium Plant. They enjoyed almost 72 years of marriage. She worked in the oil and gas industry for many years, most notably Mesa Petroleum. Ray and Norma were active members of Arden Road Baptist Church until they were no longer able to attend church regularly. She loved JESUS and taught Sunday school for many years. Norma was a devoted wife, mother and Mema. She loved spending time with her family. Fishing trips were the normal vacation activity in Oklahoma or Colorado. Many vacations were spent fishing with her sister Loretta and brother in-law Joe at Williams Creek Reservoir, Bear Lake, and Monument Lake Colorado. After their family was raised, spent many more years traveling with Loretta and Joe to go fishing, drive to Alaska and many other places in the United States. She traveled to Hawaii and Europe with Loretta and her niece Brenda.
Norma is survived by her spouse; Wesley “Ray” Felder, Sons; Floyd R. Felder and wife Amanda, Berry D. Felder and wife Donna, and Duane Felder and wife Tonya, all of Amarillo. Daughter; Freda M. White of Odessa, 22 Grandchildren, 43 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Damas Hayden Noland and Mary Francis Sharp Noland, Sons; Perry Gene Felder and Michael D. Felder, Sisters; Cora Mae Noland, Loretta Jobe, and Margie Felder, Brothers; Lester Noland, Harmon Noland, and Wally Noland.
Norma will be missed by both family and friends.
