Perry R Littlejohn

Perry Rasco Littlejohn, 88, of Amarillo passed away June 16, 2025. The family will receive friends Friday, June 20, 2025 at Memorial Park Cemetery 6969 E Interstate 40 Hwy from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Services will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 2:00pm at Southwest Church of Christ, 4515 Cornell Amarillo, TX.

Perry Littlejohn was born on June 1, 1937, in Amarillo , TX to Dave and Hazel Littlejohn. From an early age, Perry developed a strong work ethic, digging lines for septic tanks to support the construction of new homes around Amarillo. He also spent many summers with his grandparents in Oklahoma, working on the farm. As a young man, Perry took a job at the Amarillo Packing House. It was during this time he met LaDenna Holmes, and the two were married on May 6, 1956. Nine months later, they welcomed a daughter, DeeAnn. Perry and LaDenna eventually parted ways. Perry enlisted in the United States Army and after two years of service he returned to Amarillo where he met his wife Johnnie Richardson. They were married on November 16, 1963. Together they were blessed with a bundle of joy, Perry Ray, and moved to Chicago, where Perry pursued further education. Upon their return to Amarillo, the couple was blessed with another son, Ronnie. Perry found long-term employment at Pantex, where he worked diligently until his retirement in 1999. Perry was a fun loving man always with a joke or magic trick to show. He was a demanding and strict father but was very proud of all of his children and grandchildren for their accomplishments.

He is survived by his Sister Rosalie Littlejohn; Two sons Perry Littlejohn and wife Lisa of Muscatine IA, Ronnie Littlejohn and husband Yasser of Amarillo TX; One daughter Dee Ann Bural and husband Jack Farris of Canyon TX; Seven grandchildren LaShawn Phillips and husband Bo, Toni McMahan and husband Clayton, Tiffany Campbell and Husband Nathan, Sam Warren and wife Ashli, Jennifer Littlejohn and husband Max Hubbard, Jared Littlejohn and wife Emily; Eric Bural and wife Terra; Seventeen great-grandchildren Cory Sampson and wife Darian, Lexi Gibson and husband Jake, Cadence Phillips, Carson Phillips, Ronnie Tucker and wife Claudia, Thomas Tucker, Trinity Merryman and Husband DJ, Chandler Campbell, Barrett Campbell, Avery Littlejohn, Elliott Littlejohn, Maeve Hubbard, Nova Bural, Kayson Bural, Reed Warren, Fisher Warren, Josie Warren; Twelve great-great-grandchildren Raylen Tucker, Hendrick Tucker, Sarah Tucker, Samuel Tucker, Ollie Sampson, Asher Sampson, Bishop Gibson, Ivy Gibson, Tripp Gibson, John Shepard Gibson, Juniper Phillips, Orion Merryman; Numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dave and Hazel Littlejohn; Four brothers Albert Littlejohn, Lewis Littlejohn, Charles Littlejohn, GW Littlejohn; One sister Roberta Beard.
