Ruth Ratliff

Ruth T. Ratliff 98, of Amarillo passed away March 19, 2018. Ruth was a loving, caring, giving woman. Her family was very important to her. Ruth was born and raised in Des Moines, New Mexico. She met the love of her life Kenneth U. Ratliff, and they married in 1940. She was an amazing piano player who could listen to a song and immediately play it. She loved cats. She spent many days with her best friend Frankie Bales they were more like sisters than friends. Ruth will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a sister, Lucille Thomas Reif.

She is survived by her children and grandchildren; Sharon Kay Verner and husband James their two sons Vance and Scott; Tom Douglas Ratliff and wife Kay Miller Ratliff and their children Jason, Tammy and Amber; Jim Douglas Ratliff and wife Sharon Kay Archer Ratliff and children Kayce and Cody along with 14 great grandchildren.
