Alma Ruth Sides 92 of Amarillo went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 7, 2015. Ruth was born July 3, 1923. She married James Elmore Sides July 3, 1955 in Waco, Texas. She has been waiting 31 years to join her husband who passed on November 18, 1984.
She is survived by close friends and family members whom she “adopted” over the years: Mike and Mara Boyer of Amarillo, Eric and Lisa Kershen of Canyon, “granddaughters” Chelsea Kershen of Arizona, Amber Logan of Oregon and a "great grandson,” Amber’s son Oliver, who brought Ruth so much joy.
Our beloved Ruthie will be sorely missed, but we count the blessings for each day we were able to spend with her. She is preceded in death by her husband James Elmore Sides.
