Sherri Lyn Spiser

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on April 7, 2017 at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Memorial Park Funeral Home 6969 I-40 E. Amarillo, Texas with the final resting place at the onsite cemetery Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on April 6, 2017 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Sherri was born in Amarillo, Texas on September 18, 1966. She was the Salutatorian of her class and graduated from Happy High School in 1985. She continued on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from West Texas State University.

Sherri worked at AIG as a Compliance Manager in the legal department for over 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends and her beloved dog, Lucy. She was an avid NASCAR fan and could be found on race days cheering on her favorite NASCAR driver, Jeff Gordon, as well as numerous others. Sherri loved listening to music, watching movies and traveling to spend time with her sister and her family in San Antonio.

Sherri is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Barbara Spiser, her brother, Gregg Spiser, and sister, Pamela Rosser.

Survivors include Sherri's sister Denise Unruh, brother-in-law Thomas Unruh, niece, Savanah Unruh, and nephew, Garrett Comerford.
