Tomasena Turner Jennings

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Jerry Davey officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Tomasena “Toni” Turner Jennings was born Dec. 12, 1928. She loved the Lord and scripture, she taught herself to play the piano and she wrote out the sheet music to her favorite gospel music. Her favorite color was yellow like sunshine. She was very wise and extremely independent and was blessed to pass exactly the way she prayed for, asleep at home in bed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah Thomas and Fay Turner; two siblings, Robert Turner and Claudia Winters; and a son, Jimmy Leroy Jennings. Survivors include five sons and their spouses, Richard and Teddy Jennings, David and Tammy Jennings, Eugene and Tresia Jennings, Raymond and Deb Arebalo and Andy and Edna Juarez Arebalo; three daughters, Fay Boggs, Sunday Cannedy and Mary Jane Hernandez Dill and husband Walter “Paddy” Dill Jr.; her grandchildren, Linda Jennings Hughes, Fay Jennings, Richard Jennings, Jimmy Boggs, Mundy Boggs, Misty Boggs-Lopez, David Cannedy, Steven Cannedy, Justin Sirmons, Christy Settle, Shirley Castillo, Kandy Jennings, Benjamin Jaime Grado and Fernando Grado; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
